Open Positions: One PhD and two Postdoc positions in Molecular Inorganic and Computational Chemistry

Our group is devoted to the design of inorganic and organometallic compounds that bear unusual and exciting chemical bonds. Our distinctive approach is to use computational tools to seek stable structures or efficient catalytic processes which then become our synthetic targets. We put a strong emphasis on the chemical bonding analysis and the deep reactivity understanding by molecular orbital based methods, and then extend this knowledge to actually synthesize the compounds. We have close collaboration with research groups from Germany, Spain, China, and Argentina. Please check out our Research and Publications page to find out more about our work.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic PhD and Postdoc applicants, for projects related to our ERC Starting Grant funding. If interested, please write to Diego (diego.andrada@uni-saarland.de) and include your full CV, a short statement of research interests and contact details of two references, who are willing to write a letter of recommendation upon request.
