Diego studied chemistry at the National University of Cordoba (Argentina), and he graduated in 2005. In 2011, he received his PhD in Chemistry at the same university. In 2012, Diego moved to the University of Göttingen (Germany) as a postdoc. In 2013, he went to Marburg where he conducted a second postdoc. Since 2017, he has been an independent researcher at the University of Saarland.
